You'd rather have this kind of headache – Malolan Rangarajan on full squad availability ahead of DC clash
Pooja Vastrakar joined the RCB squad a couple of days back, making it a full squad available for selection ahead of the upcoming clash against the Delhi Capitals.
RCB’s Head Coach Malolan Rangarajan opened up on the positives of Vastrakar’s return and how it adds overall selection value.
Talking on RCB Game Day, Malolan highlighted how having a full squad can be a massive boost for the team’s mindset. He said, “Having Pooja, having a full set of players, a full squad of players available for selection is something that we did not have for the first 5 games. I'm very happy. Plus for Pooja also I think it's a very nice time to get integrated into the squad. Someone who's missed out playing for the last 12 months.”
Also shedding light on how tough the selection process gets with Vastrakar returning, Malo added, “As far as selection is concerned, yes, good headache, absolutely. You'd rather have this kind of headache than your players are out of form. All that again, that has been our process. We look at the opponent, we look at the conditions, and we'll try to pick the best team to beat DC.”
