You need to assess and adapt – Dinesh Karthik ahead of RCB vs MI
As the Royal Challengers Bengaluru gear up for a challenge against Mumbai Indians in Raipur, setting sights on the pole position, the camp will hope to find their way back to the winning track. Following two consecutive defeats, RCB will be hopeful of shaking off the jitters and expressing themselves in a better and bolder fashion.
Speaking on RCB Game Day, RCB’s batting coach and mentor, Dinesh Karthik opened up about the current message prevalent in the dressing room. He also emphasized that given the tournament's long duration, a few bumps along the way are inevitable. One needs to understand that and eventually move forward and RCB is no stranger to this philosophy.
DK said, “So far, the messaging has been very straightforward. We're very confident with what we're doing as a process. And in this tournament, there's always an odd hiccup always. It's important that you deal with it in a positive way. As we have discussed so far with the batters and the bowlers, the messaging has been simple. They are very understanding, and they understand sometimes tough situations. You need to assess and adapt, which they've done quite nicely."
