27 Nov, 2025 By Editor

21:15 PM - We bid you adieu from today's auctions! However, on a final note, here's how our Class of 2026 looks like:
Smriti Mandhana (cap), Richa Ghosh, Shreyanka Patil, Ellyse Perry, Georgia Voll, Radha Yadav, Pooja Vastrakar, Pratyoosha Kumar, Linsey Smith, Lauren Bell, Grace Harris, Gautami Naik, Dayalan Hemalatha, Arundhati Reddy, Nadine de Klerk, Prema Rawat.

21:00 PM - And so we draw the curtains on WPL 2026 auctions! What a day! Phew!!! We have our class of 2026 ready. The latest additions to the prestigious posse include the likes of Georgia Voll, Radha Yadav, Pooja Vastrakar, Pratyoosha Kumar, Linsey Smith, Lauren Bell, Grace Harris, Gautami Naik, Dayalan Hemalatha and Arundhati Reddy. The names also feature the return of Nadine de Klerk and Prema Rawat back in a bigger, better and bolder homecoming.

20:50 PM - What an exciting pick to conclude proceedings! RCB gets Indian international, Dayalan Hemalatha at her base price of INR 30 lakhs. A solid move to stabilize RCB's middle-order, hoping for a smoother transition from where their all-rounders take over!

20:47 PM - Karnataka's homegrown talent and exciting wicket-keeping prospect, Pratyoosha Kumar joins RCB at her base price of INR 10 lakhs.

20:23 PM - Maharashtra's lanky all-rounder with an inclination of swinging for the fences, Gautami Naik finds herself a spot in the RCB ranks. We bagged her for her base price of INR 10 lakhs. And with this we head into another break, still looking for a few more names to join our dugout.

20:02 PM - Aussie power all the way! We land Grace Harris at INR 75 lakhs as our #bidforbold continues!

19:29 PM - As we head into another round of accelerated auction, things remain well poised for RCB. Currently with a purse of INR 1.25 crore, they have landed a decent mix of all-rounders until now. It all started with the haul of Georgia Voll and since then the Royal Challengers have been pretty busy. The likes of Nadine de Klerk, Radha Yadav, Lauren Bell, Linsey Bell, Arundhati Reddy, Prema Rawat and Pooja Vastrakar followed suit. Eyes on the next set as RCB hunts for more firepower.

19:00 PM - Another big name joins RCB! Pooja Vastrakar joins the Royal Challengers Bengaluru for INR 85 lakhs. A fine pacer, Vastrakar is an established wicket-taker and will be adding some serious firepower to the RCB echelons.

18:56 PM - World Cup winner, Arundhati Reddy joins RCB! A talented quick, capable of moving the ball both ways, brought in for INR 75 lakhs

18:30 PM - Our head coach, Malolan Rangarajan opens up on the English flavour as RCB seals the services of Linsey Smith and Lauren Bell. Malo said, ""Anya is someone we've wanted on board for a while now. For all the Indians, I will have to unfortunately remind everyone of the 2017 tragic ... [jokes apart]. We've been working with Anya for the last couple of weeks planning our retentions and auctions. It's a coincidence that we have Anya, Lauren Bell and Linsey Smith, no untowards connections there. It was a clear battle between MI and us for the pacer. Anya brings a wealth of experience having played for England successfully and also captained franchises and teams around the world who are doing well. You can see the level of calm and intel she brings on board. Can't put it into words, but she's been brilliant so far and she'll be even better in the tournament."

17:46 PM - Prema Rawat is back to where she was last season. RCB exercised their RTM for Rawat at INR 20 lakhs and they win her from Gujarat Giants. Rowdy Rawat wil rumble again for the Red, Gold and Blue threads.

17:18 PM - A steal! An absolute steal! English left-arm spinner, Linsey Smith is ours. And guess what she's coming in at the base price of INR 30 lakhs.

17:09 PM - Surprise, surprise! We have a titan amongst us. English fast bowler, Lauren Bell is ours as we rope her in after a fierce battle against MI for INR 90 lakh.

16:44 PM - Talk about a splash for Indian all-rounders and we have a World Cup winner amongst us. Radha Yadav, the talented all-rounder has been picked by RCB for INR 65 lakh despite a firm battle with the Gujarat Giants. Her link-up with Smriti Mandhana will be worth watching.

16:40 PM - Nadine de Klerk is back to RCB. Who would forget that marathon knock which saw South Africa prevail over India in the nail-biting run-chase in the recently concluded ICC Women's ODI World Cup? After a bit of tip-toeing by the Gujarat Giants, RCB ensured that are bringing Nadine back home at INR 65 lakhs.

16:28 PM - RCB lands their first buy of the WPL 2026 auction. And it is Georgia Voll who holds the record joint highest score (99) in the antiquity of WPL. UP Warriorz did come in with the RTM option, asking for a price of INR 60 lakh. But RCB matches it and secures the services of the Australian batter.

16:02 PM - Another toe-to-toe battle we bring straight in for Laura Wolvaardt. Haplessly, Delhi swoops her in the last moment. We head into a quick break before the battle resumes.

3:56 PM - We shot with our tails up for Sophie Ecclestone. Sadly, she doesn't go our way. Nonetheless the quest continues for our first pick of the auction.

3:42 PM - The early paddles were up for the explosive Sophie Devine who has already shown what she is capable of. However, things doesn't go our way as Gujarat Giants picks her up for INR 2 crore.

3:26 PM - Hello everyone, we are all set to roll for the WPL 2026 auction. The paddles are set, the plans are stacked and it's a matter of moments before we witness the madness unfurl. You can catch all the details of the auction pertaining to RCB here from the start to the end. So, what are we waiting for? Let's roll already.
