The Asian Cricket Council has announced that the Women's T20 Asia Cup will be held from August 28th in Dubai. The eight-team tournament will kick off with a clash between Hong Kong and Thailand in a Group A fixture.

The tournament will be headlined by the India-Pakistan rivalry, which will be contested on September 5th, and the final of the competition will be played on September 13th. All fixtures will be held under the floodlights at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, with the daily start time being 6:30 PM local time (8 PM IST).

The tournament will witness eight teams split into two groups of four. Each group will see its teams play each other in a single round-robin format. The top two teams from each group will qualify for the semis, slated to be played on September 10th and 11th.

India have been clubbed alongside Pakistan, Thailand and Hong Kong in Group A, while Group B comprises Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, UAE and Indonesia. India will play their first game of the Asia Cup against Thailand on August 30th, followed by Hong Kong on September 3rd, before they eventually meet Pakistan in their final league stage encounter.
