The man is a legend – Chris Gayle on Virat Kohli
The Universe Boss Chris Gayle continues to sprinkle his stardust in the ongoing World Championship of Legends tournament.
The RCB Hall of Famer, in an interview on the sidelines during the ongoing league, opened up about his former RCB teammate, Virat Kohli.
Speaking to ANI, Chris Gayle, who is playing for West Indies in the league, opened up on how Virat Kohli has been an absolute legend of the sport. Gayle also wished that Virat continues to flex his muscles in the international scene for as long as possible.
Talking about Virat Kohli, Gayle said, “The man is a legend, the man is unique, he is phenomenal. I cannot find any other word to actually uplift Virat because, as I said, everybody is calling him the King Kohli, he has done so much for the game of cricket as well, and hopefully he can carry on as long as possible, especially in the international scene. He has been dominant in the IPL as well. So, like I said, great guy, great person."
Kohli’s partnership with Chris Gayle of 204 runs against the Delhi Daredevils, now rechristened as Delhi Capitals, in 2012, still remains the third-highest stand for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the history of the Indian Premier League.
