RCB’s clash against the Mumbai Indians was an absolute thriller in Nava Raipur. The Royal Challengers Bengaluru seized a last-ball win against the Mumbai Indians, returning to winning ways on a challenging track.
Speaking at the pre-match press conference before the RCB vs KKR clash, bowling coach Omkar Salvi discussed the preparation the entire side undertook to be ready for any surface. He focused on the adaptability factor of the game while highlighting how winning such games enhances the bonhomie between the players.
Shedding light on the surfaces, Salvi said, “We have to be ready for all kinds of surfaces we get and as a team we are pretty much prepared to face such challenges. It is part and parcel of the game, we have to adapt, read the situation and respond.”
Reflecting on RCB’s last win against MI, Salvi added, “The more we win such games, the more the team’s camaraderie reflects. Everyone cares for each other, everyone is helping each other. There is trust in everyone that they can win a match. Such games make the trust stronger.”
