It was a day of high-scoring madness in the training yards for RCB. A practice match featuring the likes of Romario Shepherd, Rajat Patidar, Devdutt Padikkal, Jacob Bethell and other superstars took centerstage and what followed suit was a deluge of runs. In one of the latest RCB Bold Diaries video, glimpses of some clinical striking grabbed eyeballs.

Andy Flower briefed both the sides on the approach to the game, with the coaches expecting match-like intensity. It was Team Rajat batting first and what followed thereafter was a whole lot of boundaries.

Dinesh Karthik also kept a keen tab on affairs and he lauded the intensity that went in. He was happy with the plans being executed to perfection. Team Rajat had the big guns in place as they totted up 219/5 from the first 20 overs. Devdutt Padikkal speared the charge with a tempestuous 82 from just 48 balls.

Padikkal was delighted with his knock and the way he found the wicket to be, he expected his form to continue in the upcoming days. Team Jitesh got off to a decent start and those big shots followed suit in no time. Rajat Patidar himself took a stunning one-handed grab, covering a significant distance along the way.

Romario Shepherd unleashed that inner power in him, smacking 36 off just 21 balls. He very meekly admitted to being the rhino of the team which comes on the back of a significant confluence featuring his power and his aggressive nature. He also shared a bit of insight about his bat, labelling it slightly heavy because it goes with that massive body frame of his.

Eventually after a fine battle till the end, Team Jitesh could only garner 202/7 at the end of their 20 overs. Despite falling short, there was no dearth of intensity and urgency from the latter as significant knocks were carved and more importantly, it also paid an ode to the carnage that can be knitted in the upcoming days in IPL.
