Quite a fun experience – Grace Harris on RCB having qualified for the WPL 2026 Playoffs
Grace Harris’ phenomenal presence in the RCB team for WPL 2026 has uplifted the team’s spirits as always. A feisty personality, Harris, prior to the team's last league stage clash of the season, opened up on how the qualification for the playoffs allows RCB to be a lot freer and play an aggressive brand of cricket.
The last time these two teams met, Grace Harris dropped a masterclass, smashing 85 off 40 balls to take RCB across the finish line without breaking a sweat. Talking on RCB Game Day, Harris explained the mood in the dugout and how she is excited to take the field again.
Shedding light on the qualification, Grace said, “It's really good that we've already qualified. I'm gonna admit, that's quite a fun experience knowing, like, you've made at least the playoffs. Without... so the games, you can then actually play a lot more free.”
Talking about the prep ahead of the UP game, Harris added, “You know, it's a brand new day. We'll have to get our planning right now, our training and prep right, so, yeah, I'm just excited to play cricket as always. Fresh start, you get to roll the opposition again, like, have another crack, so finishing top would be... that's the ideal result.”
She concluded with a word about the special RCB fans, stating, “So we're looking to beat UP and finish on top. Hey, RCB fans, excited to see you tomorrow!”
