I enjoyed bowling here – Kuldeep Yadav on his excellent performance in Delhi

Kuldeep Yadav was one of the chief architects behind India's win in the second Test against West Indies, claiming eight wickets across two innings combined. Yadav registered numbers of 5/82 in the first innings while racking up three wickets in the second innings too as West Indies were humbled by the hosts.
Kuldeep won the Player of the Match award for his performance in Delhi and talking in the post-match conference, Kuldeep opened up on the prevailing conditions and the feeling of being a part of two consecutive Tests.
Kuldeep said, “This was a totally different wicket if you compare it to the first Test match. Bowling a lot of overs was the challenge here, we certainly did that, I enjoyed bowling here. The drift which I got in Ahmedabad, if you compare it to this Test, there wasn't any drift here. The wicket was too dry.”
Underlining the conditions in New Delhi, Yadav said, “Bowling a lot of overs and getting the breakthrough in the middle is something I enjoy a lot. When you put a lot of revs on the ball and because of the arm speed you generate, if you have a lot of revs on the ball, you generally get the drift. You love to get the batter bowled. I enjoyed a couple of wickets in the first Tests and here as well, it was good.”
He also underlined the mentorship that he has received from Ravindra Jadeja and said, “I am going to watch a few (football) games and we hardly have time. We have to fly tomorrow and we have a game on the 19th, so we have to prepare for that. It's lovely to have him (Jadeja) around. He's someone who has always guided me in tough situations and given me some advice, it's really helping me.”
