Full IPL 2024 schedule announced; RCB to play CSK on 18th May in Bengaluru

The wait has finally come to an end as the remainder of the IPL schedule has been finally announced, including the venues for the play-off and the final. With the elections looming on the horizon, there was one speculation that a few matches may be shifted abroad. However, it has been confirmed that all the matches will be happening within India with Chennai being the host for the grand finale.

The Qualifier and Eliminator games have been slated to be played on May 21st and 22nd respectively at the Narendra Modi Stadium. The second Qualifier followed by the grand finale will be hosted at M Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on May 24th and 26th respectively.

The second phase of the tournament will be kicking off from April 8th where Chennai Super Kings will be squaring off with Kolkata Knight Riders. RCB will be playing their first match of the second phase on 11th April where they lock horns with Mumbai Indians in the former’s home.

Four days later, RCB will be coming back to Chinnaswamy where they will be hosting Sunrisers Hyderabad. Following which they travel to the City of Joy, Kolkata, for a match-up with KKR on 21st April while on 25th another away encounter awaits them at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium as SRH will be hosting Faf and company.

RCB’s caravan will then be  moving to Gujarat for a match-up on 28th April while the Titans travel to Bengaluru on 4th May for their return-leg encounter. RCB will be playing their last away encounter on 9th May where Punjab Kings will be hosting them before returning home for the last two matches of the group stages against Delhi Capitals on 12th May and Chennai Super Kings on 18th May.
