Wham-bam Cam mania disseminated through Edinburgh as Australia rode high on Cameron Green’s all-round performance to vanquish Scotland in the third T20I and pocket a 3-0 series win. With an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the bag already ahead of the game, the Aussies eyed a whitewash as this was the dress rehearsal ahead of the important England series for them.

Cameron Green’s impressive bowling applied the first brakes on the Scots. He claimed three crucial wickets, registering the scalps of George Munsey (25), Richie Berrington (8) and Mark Watt (18) to contain the hosts for 149. His overall bowling figures read 3/35.

Walking out to bat, Australia found themselves in a bit of an early pickle as they lost the wickets of Travis Head (12) and Jake Fraser-McGurk (0). Wobbling at 18/2, Cameron Green stepped up to the task. What started as a slow and cautious knock soon blew into a full-blown display of fireworks as Cam Green stayed unbeaten for 62 from just 39 balls, hammering two fours and five sixes, ensuring Australia won the match with six wickets and 23 balls to spare.
