BCCI announces India A squad for four-day matches against South Africa

Rishabh Pant is all set to return to competitive cricket as he has been announced as the captain of the India A team which will be playing two four-day Test matches against South Africa A at BCCI’s Center of Excellence in Bengaluru.

Pant will be making a comeback ever since his injury in Manchester after being struck by a Chris Woakes yorker.

Sai Sudharsan will be his deputy in the squad which boasts of a nice blend of experience and youth, bringing together a handful of international talent clubbed with youngsters who are trysting with the opportunity of bursting onto the national team.

Apart from Pant and Sudharsan, the squad for the first game includes the likes of RCB stars Devdutt Padikkal and Rajat Patidar too.

The second game will see another major revamp which will feature the likes of KL Rahul, Dhruv Jurel, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Khaleel Ahmed, Gurnoor Brar, Abhimanyu Easwaran among others.
